….drug cartels setting up lookouts on US soil.

November 16, 2010

I have been staying away from politics for awhile because it tends to drive me up the wall. I was dealing with some medical issues brought on by it all. I just happened to read this article on OneNewsNow, and I had to put in my 2 cents.

I believe that if the lookouts don’t leave then we need snipers that will take them out. I am sure that there are critters out there in the desert that would enjoy the extra food. I know that we have the tech to be able to spot them where ever they may hide. We just need to decide that the drug cartels are an enemy that we can not ignore. Otherwise, we go the way of Mexico.

I think we need to have a policy that if you take out a drug cartel lookout, then it is no different that shooting a poisonous snake that you found on your property. These guys just need to disappear. If they all start dying, then maybe they will start saying no to the drug lord when he tells them to go be a lookout on US soil.

I mean, we have the best military in the world.  These guys would be a cake walk for them.  But our government won’t do anything about it.  If the government won’t do it, then someone else will have to.   And they should not have to worry about prosecution. I mean, they are only doing what the feds SHOULD be doing, but are too much of a pantywaist to do it.  I know this is a dangerous idea, but these are increasingly dangerous times. If drug cartels were to start posting lookouts near my home, I would not hesitate to make sure that they knew they are not welcome. Of course, I don’t foresee that happening too soon. But the way things are going currently, it could happen.

But of course as always, that is just my 2 cents.

….Feds lawsuit against AZ

July 28, 2010

I saw this AP article today.  And to throw my 2 cents in…I think the best thing Governor Brewer could do to assure her re-election would be to tell the feds where they can stick their injunctions.  I mean, what can they really do?  They can withhold funding.  I would cheer any state that tells the feds to keep their funding and their fingers out that states pies.  Everybody wants to make claims that their state is sovereign, but I have yet to see any act like it.  Talk is cheap.  Put your money where your mouth is.

Governor Brewer, did you hear that?  With 70% of the population supporting SB1070, I think you could do wonders for your career by telling the feds to stick it where the sun don’t shine.  And then raise the rates (I’m talking double or triple) for any services that AZ does for any state that doesn’t support SB1070.

Of course, I am still waiting for the states to withdraw from the union.  But of course that won’t happen.  And truthfully I have my doubts that we will have another free election of president here either.

Ahh, but that is just my 2 cents worth.

….this administration

July 7, 2010

I am so sick of this administration that I could scream.  Obama bin Osama has a very odd idea of transparency.  He is once again doing an end run around Congress to get what he wants.  (see http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100707/ap_on_bi_ge/us_obama_health_care_appointment) He has shown that he has no regard for what the people of this country want.  For that matter he has shown he has no regard for this country.  Going after Arizona for trying to protect their borders, forcing the healthcare bill down our throats, it is just one thing after another with this guy.

I think I will start stating what I feel should be done for some of the various issues.  Let’s start with the border.  I feel that the National Guard should be deployed as a force at the border.  With the same rules of engagement as I would give our men in the Middle East.  If someone fires on them, take that person out.  Don’t give them a second shot.  If they encounter sniper fire and don’t have the expertise to counter it, I would send in Marine snipers to take care of it.  If the drug cartels want a war, I would give them a war.  And they wouldn’t survive, more less win.

While we’re on it, how bout the Middle East.  I would tell our men there that the rules of engagement are to do whatever it takes to get the job done and get back home.  This pussyfooting around that Obama has them doing will never accomplish anything.

Also, I think I would close our borders completely.  If you want to enter this country from another part of the world, then you would have to do it from 2 sites on each border.  Mexico would have to enter through Nogales, or El Paso, and nowhere else.  West coast would be LA and Seattle.  East Coast would be NY and Miami.  I don’t know about Canada’s border,  I am not that familiar with it.  I may give it more options since that is such a huge border and would be as much by land as anything else.  But by air there would still only be 2 places one could enter.  This cuts down on how many possible targets could come from outside the country thereby making it a bit more manageable.

Oh well, enough griping.  I could never run anyhow since I would never get elected.  Not that I think we will have another free election for President anyhow.  But that’s just my 2 cents.

….anchor babies

June 28, 2010

I saw this post on a San Francisco (no surprise there) newspaper site.  Basically it is whining about the pending legislation in AZ that will make it so anchor babies won’t get birth certificates.  whine whine sob sob weep weep  Whoopee.  Being born in America doesn’t make you an American any more than a cat having kittens in the oven makes the kittens biscuits.    You should not be given citizenship just for being born here.  If your parents aren’t citizens then you aren’t a citizen.

I guess AZ could always say that the kid is a citizen but the kid’s parents are getting deported anyhow.  So the kid will go to someone who is a citizen and can’t have kids.  And the illegal parents can go back to Mexico where they came from.  That would solve 2 problems, no anchor for the illegal parents and citizens who can’t have kids could adopt the anchor babies.  Sounds like a good plan to me.

But that is just my 2 cents.

…affirmative action or stupidity?

June 15, 2010

AP had a story today on the election of village trustees in Port Chester, NY.  I guess someone was whining that only white people got elected to the trustee positions even though over half the town is hispanic.  Okay first off that tells me one of 2 things, either the hispanic voters don’t like the hispanic candidates or they don’t get out and vote.  So first off, I say, “Tough toenails!  Motivate the hispanic community to get out and vote or get over it!”  But no they can’t do that of course.  So now everyone gets 6 votes.  How idiotic.  The hispanic voters that don’t get out and vote probably don’t because they’re probably illegals.  They aren’t allowed to vote anyhow.  The ones that do get out and vote are either very few or don’t vote hispanic.  So they may as well get over it.  If the hispanics don’t vote hispanic, then this won’t change anything.

Admittedly, I thought that they were going to say that the hispanic voters got 6 votes each and everyone else just got one.  But it appears that everyone gets 6 each.  So that is better, but I don’t see how it will change anything.  You have the same number of votes regardless.

…fun billboard

June 10, 2010

I like looking at truthorfiction.com every once in awhile to see what rumors are being forwarded around.  (I don’t receive them much.)  Well earlier today I was looking at their updated and new rumors and saw this one about a billboard in Arizona.   It basically directs illegals to Los Angeles as being their paradise.  I loved that billboard.  Unfortunately it wasn’t real.  Of course if it was, I doubt too many illegals would be able to read it.  (It was in English.)  I propose this as a viable ad for someone in AZ to rent billboard space along I-10/I-19:

billboard

Remember, this billboard does not actually exist.  And I have my doubts that you could get an advertising company to let you put such a statement on one of their billboards.  Although Clear Channel does have a history of allowing rather conservative ads to be placed on their billboards.  I doubt the Spanish is correct, I used babelfish to translate it.  But I think most illegals would get the point anyhow.

Well, that is my 2 cents worth of fun for the day.

…on the UN and climate change

June 8, 2010

The UN issued a report last week, (see article on guardian.co.uk), that said we all needed to go on a vegan diet to save the planet.  Those idiots at the UN don’t have a the collective intelligence of a retarded rock.  The only thing that would accomplish is the overpopulation of pretty much all the animals on the planets and to impoverish the vast majority of the world.  I don’t eat much red meat anymore, but that is a matter of taste and nothing else.  I just find that I prefer chicken or fish over cow.  But I do like a good burger every now and again.  First off, look at how many people work in those industries.  What are they supposed to do for jobs?  Of course, the government would sustain them.  The UN just needs to learn to keep their mouths shut.  Every time they open them, they just show their stupidity.  Actually it would be best if they were completely disbanded.  They are totally useless.  They are just taking up space.  And I can’t remember one single thing they have done that has been of any value.

I mean get a load of this quote, Dr Rajendra Pachauri, chair of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), has also urged people to observe one meat-free day a week to curb carbon emissions.  Curb carbon emissions?!  Is he for real?  I would presume he is talking about farting.  Surely he realizes that eating more veggies tends to make one more gassy.  What he thinks that veggie farts are less harmful for the environment?  He is so full of crap that he has it coming out both ends.

They want to stop climate change?  The only way to do that is to live in a climate controlled bubble.  And we all saw how well that works with the BioDome (no, not the movie).  The climate is going to change, it always has, always will.  Will change so much that the world will be destroyed, no.  Will we be little less comfortable for awhile, most likely.  But as it has done for millennia, it will normalize again.  Nothing really changes.

Well that is my 2 cents anyhow.

…they still don’t get it

May 26, 2010

I saw an article on the AP today that just irks me to no end.  Police chiefs whining that SB1070 will increase crime.  It basically sounded to me like they thought it would be more work for them.  Put down the doughnuts and go bust a few illegals.  You bust enough of them and they will quit going through your area.  Simple as that.  They may be illegal but that doesn’t mean they are stupid.  They don’t want to get caught.  So start busting them and they will stop coming through your town.  And they will go through someone else’s town.

Arizona, stick to your guns.  Someone has to stop them and the feds aren’t going to.  I know Obama is sending 1200 troops to the border.  But what are their rules of engagement for it?  Anyone know?  I doubt they are allowed to do anything if they see someone crossing the border illegally.  (If they aren’t going through a checkpoint, they are illegal. Period.)  So, Arizona, it looks like it is up to you to stop the flow.  Otherwise, we won’t have to worry about the Muslim terrorists.  You don’t see them going after Mexico any.

To you, Mr. President, get off your butt and start doing what you swore to do when you took office.  You are not protecting this country’s interests in any way, shape, or form.  You are bowing to our enemies and pissing off our friends.  Get your head out of your butt and start leading.  Well I guess you are leading but I don’t want to follow where you are going.

Oh well, enough ranting and raving.  But that is my 2 cents anyhow.

…why our borders need to be sealed

May 25, 2010

I saw an article on WorldNetDaily.com that really showed why we need to get a handle on closing our borders.  It talked about the people apprehended coming into the US from Mexico that weren’t Mexican.  (No, not every illegal coming from Mexico is Mexican.) Here is a list of some of the ones from 2008:

Afghanistan: 29
Algeria: 41
Iran: 98
Iraq: 118
Lebanon: 188
Libya: 11
Nigeria: 299
Pakistan: 494
Saudi Arabia: 71
Somalia: 66
Sudan: 46
Syria: 71
Yemen: 78

Now you know those people weren’t coming here to escape situations in their country.  Every one of them is at least partially under Islamic law.  Their only intent for coming here illegally would be to blow something up and kill as many as possible.

The article said that 5,506 of the detained, deportable illegal aliens in 2008 were from “special interest countries”.  That is countries that would wish to do us harm.

We need to close the border now or if Mexico doesn’t over-run us, then terrorists will attack more major cities and kill a lot more people.

But, of course, that is just my 2 cents worth.

…what Arizona needs.

May 17, 2010

With all the lawsuits over AZ’s SB1070, (see http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/05/17/AR2010051702175.html?hpid=topnews, I believe Arizona needs a judge who has the guts to say ‘quit yer whining and either get legal or go home’ and throw the case out.  Criminals only have a right to trial.  Criminals who aren’t even citizens should only have the right to be sent back where they came from.   That’s better than what Mexico would do to illegals in their country.

Anyways, that’s my 2 cents.
